We used Twitter to give status updates about our computer servers, and hooked it into all sorts of interesting things.

We then found Snipia, which basically lets you create groups and is more of a corporate Twitter in some ways, with privacy, and we wanted to use that too, to post updates to groups.

So, here’s the solution: A simple Windows command line tool that lets you use either service.

I had been using wget to post tweets from a batch file. That failed when twitter stopped supporting basic authentication. Your utility seems to suffer that fate as well. Could you make your utility support the authentication that twitter now wants?
